  • 10 gr of fresh yeast
  • 100 g of butter or margarine
  • 130 ml of warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Vanilla essence
  • For the filling:
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 60 gr of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 350 gr of strength flour

Do not wait for a special occasion to make this dessert so original and rich. Gather the ingredients and we will teach you how to do it, step by step.

1- The first thing we will do is the dough. Mix the sifted flour, a pinch of salt and the yeast, to bind well. Little by little, add the melted butter or margarine and mix everything with your hands. Add the milk, the egg and the vanilla, and continue kneading with your fingers. When a compact dough forms, make a ball, put it in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it grow for 1 or 2 hours.

2- The filling can be done while the dough grows. Mix the butter or margarine with the sugar and cinnamon. When the dough is ready, open it with the help of a roller on a floured surface in the shape of a rectangle, and cover it with the filling. Roll up the dough and cut into slices 2 to 3 cm thick.

3- Arrange the cinnamon rolls in a baking dish, previously spread with butter or margarine and let them rise for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 180 degrees.

4- Well, now we only have to take the source with the cinnamon rolls to the oven for about 30 minutes, approximately, or until they are golden on top.

5- And here are our cinnamon rolls, fresh from the oven !!! Hmm… what a smell of cinnamon !!


- If you wish, to the filling of the cinnamon rolls you can also add raisins or chopped nuts, or even some cream cheese or cream. It will be very good anyway.
